Mim's opened in 1944`and was originally called Murph's.
It was later renamed Mim's after a talented patron named Mim Davis turned a heavy piece of
wood from the Promontory Bridge into the signature bar.
In the late 1800s, shortly after the Transcontinental Railroad was completed, the tiny town of Corinne, Utah became one of the state's wildest towns, as railroad workers and freighters patronized some 15 saloons and 16 liquor stores.
Things have calmed down a lot since then and today, we are the only full-service bar in Corinne and one of the oldest bars in Utah. We're a "friendly, fun, and unique" stop known for having "the best burgers this side of Mississippi" and "the coldest beer in Utah."
